Anyone who wants to earn money through travel solutions (travel website owners, travel bloggers, SEO experts, media buyers, travel agencies and else) can start working on network of offers for additional earnings in the tourist market (car rentals, insurances, transfers, excursions, airfare, hotels and more).

What’s the job?

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager (BDM) based in the USA. This manager will be responsible for identifying and recruiting relevant affiliate projects and new advertisers into our network helping to meet our aggressive growth goals. 

A candidate with a background in affiliate marketing would be a perfect fit but most importantly, we need a person who isn’t afraid of cold calling / cold emailing / prospecting as this position doesn’t suppose inbound leads or opportunities. 

We already have US based partners, our product is maturing and better than ever we want a real presence and ideally grow a team out there. That starts with the sales.

This can either be a home (NYC ideally but we're open to other major hubs) or office-based role, including spending much time at client sites and industry specific events throughout the country building relationships and pitching.

You will need to work with senior executives within the prospect/customer base and with the leadership team internally. This requires personal gravitas, maturity and the ability to build logical and persuasive arguments. 

You will work with a Business Development team and Head of BD based in Russia, Saint Petersburg (MSK timezone\GMT+3). 


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and recruit relevant affiliate projects and new advertisers into Travelpayouts Affiliate Network

  • Build new pipeline and focus on plenty of outbound activity to keep the sales funnel topped up

  • Build and manage the US affiliate portfolio teaming up with the inside sales team 

  • Manage recruitment data through active use of CRM, Task Tracker, and Gmail

  • Closely monitor the competitive landscape, evaluate new technologies, platforms, strategies, and tactics, bringing recommendations back to the team to ensure our continued evolution and growth.

  • Exhibit strong problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Express interest in taking on increased responsibilities as they may evolve

  • Consistently innovate, explore, learn, test, execute and iterate. Develop and maintain a culture and discipline of testing, research, competitive analysis and data-driven decisions to optimize future plans.

  • Work strategically with Marketing, Business Development and Product to exchange feedback and form correct value-proposition

Requirements: 

  • You must be located in the USA, the company doesn't offer relocation package

  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience with affiliate marketing

  • Extensive network of top tech affiliates with proven growth will be a plus

  • Experience with Google Analytics and other reporting/tracking tools

  • Strong project management, presentation and organization skills

  • Proficiency in English and Russian, both written and spoken

  • Understanding of digital marketing

  • Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills

  • Ability to turn complex data and information into actionable insights and plans

  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic

  • Knows how to hustle and isn’t afraid of cold calling / cold emailing / prospecting

  • Trustworthy - you respond to emails with urgency, provide accurate answers, ask people for help when you don’t know the answer and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively across functions across time-zones as part of a team
